God’s Power in Our Weakness

God’s Power in Our Weakness

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

We often view weakness as something to hide, but Paul reminds us that our weakness is the very place where God’s power shines the brightest.

Paul begged God to remove the thorn in his flesh, but God responded with grace—not removal.

Through this, Paul learned that God’s strength is not given to make us self-sufficient, but to make us dependent on Him.

Trials will expose your limitations.

There will be moments where your resources, wisdom, and energy fall short.

That’s when grace steps in.

Like Gideon’s small army defeating a vast enemy, God uses our weakness to display His power.

The world says, “Be strong.” God says, “Let Me be your strength.”

When you feel inadequate, remember that His grace covers you, His Spirit empowers you, and His strength carries you.

Your weakness is not a liability—it’s an opportunity for God’s glory to be revealed.
