When God Says “Wait”

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” — Psalm 37:7

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of walking with God.

We like movement, results, and answers.

Yet often, God’s greatest work happens in the waiting.

• Abraham waited decades for the promised son. 
• Joseph waited in prison for years before stepping into his calling. 
• The disciples waited in Jerusalem for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. 

In each case, the waiting was not wasted—it was preparation.

When God tells us to wait, it’s not a delay of His promises; it’s the development of our faith.

The waiting room is where our trust grows, our character is refined, and our dependence on Him deepens.

You may be waiting for direction, a breakthrough, or an answered prayer.

While you wait, know that God is still working behind the scenes.

His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good.

Don’t let the waiting shake your faith—let it strengthen it.

Trust Him and keep believing... The promise will come right on time!
